Welcome
We are very excited to WELCOME you to the Delta Community Animal Shelter website! We hope that you will find the site informative, helpful and a great way to find out the latest news from Delta's Community Animal Shelter!
We encourage you to take some time to browse the pages of the site and to see what information and services are available. Our goal in building the site was to provide you with resources to better care for your pets and to supply you with information about responsible pet ownership, living with our local wildlife, and ways you can get involved in helping our community's homeless animals.
A feature of this new site that we are especially excited to introduce is the ability for Delta residents to submit information about a lost pet. Our hope is that this feature will improve your chances of finding and reuniting with your lost pet. You will also be able to view animals what animals have been found and are being kept at the shelter. A list of animals available for adoption is provided and adoption application forms can be completed online. In addition, an online incident report form is available to report various issues and concerns about animals (such as a barking dog, dogs off leash, wildlife concerns and more).
We encourage you to visit this site often as we will be adding new information regularly. Let us help you and the animals in our community live happier and healthier! Thank you for your support!
Shelter History
On January 1st, 2008, The Corporation of Delta took over animal control services and shelter operations from the Delta Humane Society. The animal shelter is now called Delta Community Animal Shelter (DCAS). With our professional and caring staff we are committed to maintaining a high level of animal care and promoting responsible pet ownership in Delta.
