Dog Licenses
Delta's Animal Control Bylaw No. 6893, 2010 requires the licensing of dogs. Annual dog licenses may be purchased at the following locations in Delta:
- Delta Municipal Hall - Finance Department- 4500 Clarence Taylor Crescent
- North Delta Recreation Centre - 11415 84th Avenue
- Delta Community Animal Shelter - 7450 80th Street
- various Veterinary Hospitals and Pet Stores throughout Delta
Annual dog licenses are due by February 28 and are valid for the calendar year.
Dog License Fees
| Basic Fees for Dog Licences If a licence is required on or before February 1 of any year and purchased on or after March 1 of that year: |

Dog license renewals can be done through the internet using Delta's Online Payment and Services.
Bylaw Enforcement
Some of the duties of the Corporation of Delta's Animal Control Officer is to ensure the safety of the public, to respond to animals in need, to rescue wildlife, to reconnect lost animals with their owners and to ensure animal owners are being responsible and caring for their pets.
