Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the shelter.
Your support and involvement is vital to the success of the shelter. Success to us means that we are able to offer each animal in our care a comfortable and healthy environment in which to live until they find their "forever home".
Volunteers are asked to make a minimum commitment of 2 hours once a week for 6 months. By making this commitment we will be able to provide you with the necessary training. A proper training will make volunteering more fulfilling for you and more beneficial for the animals. If you are unable to make the minimum required hours of commitment, we still encourage you to get involved when your schedule allows. However, your responsibilities will be limited to very basic tasks. There is a $15 charge to cover the cost of the volunteer t-shirt with proceeds go towards the care of the animals.
